The leisure facilities, some of them chargeable, include a heated indoor swimming pool, indoor tennis court, snooker table, badminton court and gym. There is also a nine-hole golf course, which is free for guests to use, and all-weather tennis courts. Spey Valley Championship Golf Course is next to the resort and concessionary green fees are available for those who want to perfect their swing. Macdonald Spey Valley Resort borders the famous River Spey, beneath the splendour of the imposing Cairngorm Mountains, the UK’s largest winter sports area.
