The Lakeland Village

The well equipped riverside holiday cottages and apartments at The Lakeland Village in Cumbria nestle alongside the salmon river flowing out of Lake Windermere. The 1, 2 and 3 bedroom self catering units, are spacious, tastefully furnished to a high standard and have been awarded five stars. The cottages and apartments are fully equipped and superbly furnished with remote control satellite tv, fridge/freezer, cooker, washing machine and dishwasher. On site is the Whitewater Hotel, which has a restaurant and bar. The Riverside Restaurant is famous in the Lake District for its high standards of local, seasonal dishes.  The lovely holiday cottages at The Lakeland Village in Newby Bridge, Cumbria include 47 luxury cottages and apartments situated on the banks of the River Levin, the southern outlet of Lake Windermere. The Resort is easily accessible from Junction 36 of the M6, and is an ideal location for exploring the southern and western lakes and fells. The Lakeland Village is within easy reach of all the traditional outdoor activities associated with the Lake District. The Lake District National Park at 2,292 sq km, is the largest of England's National Parks providing an exciting mix of mountain and lake scenery. Postcard perfect in summer, in fall the brown bracken of the mountain slopes contrasts with the reds of oak forests and the beginnings of snow white frosting on the mountain peaks. The Lake District is a walker's paradise at any time.
