Uvongo River Resort is located on KwaZulu-Natal's spectacular Hibiscus Coast. With its seemingly endless golden sandy beaches, clear blue water and lush green tropical forest punctuated with magnificent dazzling blooms, the area certainly lives up to its reputation as the 'coast of many colours.' Uvongo beach and the picturesque lagoon are both within 400m from the resort and offer swimming, canoeing and paddle boating. A bit further away, guests can enjoy fishing and scuba diving at Shelly Beach or visit the gushing Waterfall at Uvongo Beach. Uvongo River Resort is being transformed into an Italian village! Still in progress, the entrance will house a real shipwreck and provide the warm welcome of a traditional Italian mandolino. Murals, hanging baskets and water fountains enhance the resort's holiday-in-Italy ambience. Seventy kilometres of beautiful secluded coves and golden beaches lapped by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean make this a superb holiday location at the heart of the Hibiscus Coast.
