Brockwood Hall

There are over thirty fully equipped Norwegian Lodges at Brockwood Hall in Cumbria. Close to the Hall, yet concealed among the trees, the Lodges are designed to blend with the woodland setting. All Lodges have triple glazing, electric central heating and well equipped kitchens and bathrooms. There are a number of different types of lodges of various sizes and layouts each is equipped with a television, cd/dvd player and telephone. On site facilities include a sun shower, outdoor children's play area, lawns for games and BBQ's and a nature trail taking you through the woods and round the Resort. Inside Brockwood Hall you will find a Bar, Lounge, Restaurant and informative Reception. Brockwood Hall is located near Millom, Cumbria on the Cumbrian Coastal Way surrounded by the Duddon Estuary and the Lake District Fells. An area of outstanding natural beauty, this is the perfect location for those who wish to 'get away from it all'. The Resort is nestled in the scenic Whicham Valley, surrounded by protected woodland, with beautiful views opening out to the Irish Sea. Any visitors with an interest in history will be delighted with the wealth of attractions the region has to offer. These include a Folk Museum that illustrates the region's history of mining and an RAF Museum which displays artefacts from the days when nearby Haverigg was a military airbase. Creative enthusiasts can visit the Craft Centre and view a range of crafts exhibits and for bird watchers, Hodbarrow Nature Reserve has an RSPB hide and estuary walks. If something a little more energetic is required, Haverigg Beach has lovely golden sands backed by dunes, great for windsurfing! A car is essential at this Resort to fully explore this lovely area of Cumbria.
