The lovely holiday cottages at Brunston Castle in Ayrshire, Scotland are purpose-built holiday homes that have been carefully positioned to make the most of their natural settings, with patio doors leading onto elevated verandas which command lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The spacious, comfortable lodges are attractively placed in a sylvan setting in the beautiful Girvan Valley and there is plenty to keep every visitor to Brunston Castle happy throughout their holiday. On site facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, small games room, children's adventure playground, DVD hire, gym, laundry. Staff are available to help book ferries to Arran/Ireland, car hire & advice on the area to make the most of your holiday. Reception can also advise and book restaurants. Located in a magnificent rural idyll, the resort is named after the original 16th Century Brunston Castle. Set in 25 acres of landscaped grounds in the peaceful Girvan Valley, just five miles from Ayrshire’s picturesque coastline, Brunston Castle makes the perfect place from which to explore the wonderful west of Scotland. Blessed with a remarkably mild climate year round, the resort offers peace and privacy in what is one of the loveliest parts of Scotland - renowned for its rich history and magnificent scenery. Dramatic coastlines, sandy beaches, castles, family attractions and plenty of golf courses in the surrounding area, Ayrshire has a considerable amount to offer at any time of the year. The resort is around an hour’s drive from Glasgow, with all its history and cultural activities, while being no more than two hours from the many delights of Edinburgh. The legendary Loch Lomond is about one hour away.
