Situated close to The Hub of Aviemore, Scandinavian Village has all conveniences of the village within a 10-minute walk, including pubs, restaurants, a grocery store, and even the town's train station. The resort's villas can accommodate up to six people and the apartments and Cairngorm Suite can accommodate up to four people, with great views of the Cairngorms National Park. Winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, and ice climbing are close by, and hiking and golf are popular in the summer. Scandinavian Village is located in Aviemore, a village in the 1,700+ square mile Cairngorms National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty in the rugged Highlands of Scotland. The area offers just about anything the vacationer would want, from skiing, snowboarding, and ice climbing in the winter to golf, fishing, rock climbing, and rafting in the summer. There's something of interest for all ages, including a year round program of festivals and events. And, it's all enhanced by the majesty of the surrounding mountains.
