There are 77 apartments at Macdonald Plas Talgarth. The accommodation at Plas Talgarth comprises of Mansion House studio and one bed apartments, bungalows and other apartments with two or three bedrooms. All are fully furnished to a high standard with telephone, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. The interactive TV system provides movies on demand, music library, games and broadband internet. The Mansion House apartments (sleep 2) have a living area with refrigerator, microwave and all crockery and cutlery. Mansion House apartments (sleep 4) have 1 bedroom, with either double or bunk beds, double sofa bed in lounge area and a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and all necessary crockery and cutlery. There are two kinds of 3 bed sleep 6 units villas and bungalows please note that the third bedroom in both these types of unit is a bunk room. The units that have 2 bedrooms sleep 6 have a double and twin bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Apartments (sleep 8) have either 3 bedrooms consisting of master, twin, bunk room and pull down or sofa bed in lounge or a master and 2 x twins and a sofa bed or pull down bed in the lounge. All apartments (except Mansion House) have fully fitted kitchens, dishwashers, balconies or patios. Please note there are a number of steps at the Resort, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility problems. The Health & Leisure Club at the resort is open daily for a workout in the gym, swim, relax in the Jacuzzi, steam room or sauna the choice is yours. Escape and pamper yourself in the Spa where our highly qualified and professional therapists offer an extensive range of treatments to relax and revive you whether male or female. We offer British skincare brand "Elemis" facial and body treatments, Jessica nails, GELeration manicures, Bare Ecsentual mineral make-up, universal contour wraps and alternative treatments of Reiki, hot stone massage and Indian head massage. After your treatments don't rush off, take some time out in our warm and cosy relaxation room. Y Garth Bar & Restaurant comprises a cosy bar with additional dining area and a large restaurant. It has a access to a patio and a beer garden with stunning views. Food is locally sourced and cooked fresh. Macdonald PlasTalgarth Health & Leisure Club is set in acres of parkland at the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park, just five miles from the beautiful beaches of Aberdyfi and Tywyn. The resort nestles in the lovely valley of the River Dyfi, Nearby attractions include: Talyllyn Railway, Corris Craft Centre with King Arthur’s Labyrinth, Borth Animalarium. In the north of the National Park attractions include: Snowdon Mountain Railway, Bodnant Gardens, Portmeirion, Llechwedd Slate Caverns & Zip World, Ffestiniog Steam Railway, Sygyn Copper Mine, and various castles.

Reception hours are: 8.15am to 10pm - Guests who arrive outside these hours should contact the resort to arrange alternative options for the keys to their unit. The leisure facilities are opened 8.30am to 8pm, with the last entry at 7pm. Pets Welcome at a charge of £75 per booking with a maximum of 2 dogs per unit. You must contact resort prior to travel for restrictions. All dogs must be registered at reception and kept on a lead throughout the resort. You will need to show a current health certificate/Pet Passport confirming that your pet has been vaccinated within the last 12 months.
