The village pays special attention to families and has special pastimes for young children as well as teenagers. Adults can play, too, with live music, dancing, and cabaret shows in the evenings. Many tours are possible from Olivara Village, including a motorboat trip to the Aeolian islands; by boat along the Costa Degli Dei; or by minibus or bus coach to Taormina, Reggio Calabria, Pizzo Calabro (with Castle "Murat" and the Piedigrotta cave), and Vibo Valentia (featuring the Norman Castle and the Ethnographic Museum).
