Each home or self catering accommodation is tastefully furnished and surprisingly spacious, nearly all feature a patio or balcony so that you can make the most of the fresh air and freedom in this exclusive and unique Resort. The excellent recreation facilities include a leisure and sports centre, lake, tennis courts, playground. There is a small user fee for some of the facilities on site, the Resort will be pleased to give further information on these. Please note this resort will not allow dogs. The superior holiday cottages at Clowance Estate and Country Club are located in the landscaped gardens and woodland of the old manor house, set in the beautiful Cornish countryside. Clowance House, a manor house since the fourteenth century was home of the St. Aubyns for 500 years. In the eighteenth century, Sir John St. Aubyn, inspired by Capability Brown, transformed his ancestral estate into elegant parkland. Lakes and islands appeared to create the perfect vistas. Once you are here, the fact that you are 12 miles from Truro, 12 miles from Penzance and about 5 miles from both the north and south coasts means that all of Cornwall’s many attractions are within easy driving distance. Slightly further afield fun days can be had at the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project, Lands End, St Michael’s Mount and The Lizard Peninsula. Cornwall is crammed with delights - Britain's best surf beaches, jaw-dropping coastal scenery, picturesque fishing villages, and the barren beauty of Bodmin Moor.
