Sestriere (at an altitude of 2035 meters or 6676 feet) is the most important tourist center of the Piedmont Alps. A long ski season is assured here between Christmas and Easter, helped by artificial snowmaking equipment if necessary. In fact, this is the capital of a vast ski domain known as the Milky Way, where there are ski trails stretching into France. Sestriere, which is on the World Cup ski circuit, offers cross-country skiing in winter. During July and August, there is an 18-holes golf course and tennis. The rest of the year reception opening hours are 9-13/14-17. If you need to check in outside of the Reception hours, you’ll have to pay €100 until 9pm. After 9pm you cannot check in until the, Resort cannot honor unit upgrades or moves., Resort has a strict non-smoking policy., Resort is not suitable for handicapped people, or people with walking difficulties., This resort has different check-in days over the year. Bookings have to be made in increments of 7 nights. After confirming a unit online please check with RCI that the check-in day booked is correct for your time of travel. Incorrect bookings will be canceled and re-booked with the correct check-in
