The Plaza on the River is the preferred hotel in the "Biggest Small City in America." Overlooking Reno, Nevada's Truckee River, the Plaza is just steps away from the Riverwalk and Whitewater Kayak Park. Combining old world charm with gracious hospitality, the Plaza offers Reno from a unique perspective. Because the Plaza Resort Club started out as an exclusive time-share property, suites are more spacious than most (nearly 500 sf.) and equipped with everything needed for longer stays. In-room amenities include high speed Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, dining table, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, ironing kit and a security safe. Dishes and toasters are available by request. Other conveniences include safe deposit boxes at the front desk and a coin-operated laundry facility. King-bedded hotel rooms with fold-out sofas and rooms with two queen beds are also available. Within walking distance to many fine restaurants, casinos, and outdoor activities, the Plaza also offers an onsite fitness center, indoor heated swimming pool, and rooftop sundeck with whirlpool spa. There is also a game room with billiards, same-day laundry and dry cleaning services, complimentary morning coffee and pastries, free video library and free wireless Internet access. Reno has a completely different feeling that big brother Las Vegas. You'll find casinos, buffets and plenty of live entertainment, however. Parking is valet only. Only one vehicle permitted per guest room. There is a daily parking charge, currently $8.00 USD. Our onsite garage cannot accommodate any vehicles over 72 inches in height or 18 feet in length, or any dual rear-wheeled vehicles, trailers, campers or RVs. Check in is 4:00 pm. Check out is 10:00 am A credit card and photo Id in the name of the registering guest is required at check in. Your credit card will be authorized $50 USD per day up to a maximum of $250 USD to cover any incidental charges. Rates may change with or without notice based on the discretion of the resort. Housekeeping Fee: Timeshare reservations that are not reserved as a seven night stay from Saturday to Saturday are subject to a Housekeeping Fee charged at check in. This fee is currently $39 USD plus 13.5 tax plus a $2 city surcharge.
