It takes 10 minutes by driving from here to Lijiang Shuhe Old city and Lijiang Old City, 25 minutes driving to Yulong Snow Mountain, Less than 1 kilometre to Lijiang tourism center, 20 minutes driving to Lijiang Rail transit station and 35 minutes driving to Lijiang Airport. Lijiang is located in the northwest of Yunnan Province. It's in a region where the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau converge. Lijiang, the hottest destination in Yunnan, is about 517 kilometres from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. Lijiang, which lies between Dali and Shangri-La, is a must-visit city. Travellers can put either Shangri-La or Dali into their travel list or cover three of them. Shuhe Ancient Town, also named Longquan Village (which literally means dragon spring village), is located to the north of Lijiang Ancient City. In the Naxi language, Shuhe means “a village at the foot of a peak”. Shuhe Ancient Town is surrounded by a murmuring river and is interlaced with smooth flagging. It is a compact village hidden in the forest and lies near mountains and rivers.
