Guests at the Lodges enjoy access to Lake Placid Resort Beach on Mirror Lake Drive, a public beach, adjacent to the Lodges. Guests also get discounts for Mountain Course golfing as well as horseback riding at Emerald Springs Ranch and tickets for Whiteface Mountain, and access to the Cross-Country Ski Center and Lake Placid Health and Fitness Center at no extra charge. The fitness center also has a cozy lounge with fireplace, and pro shop.Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains of New York offers vacationers a true mountain retreat. Lake Placid Club Lodges are near Whiteface Mountain, where skiers can enjoy 283 acres, 86 trails, and the greatest vertical drop this side of the Rocky Mountains. Visitors can also enjoy the Olympic facilities, including skating in Olympic Center, ski jumping, and more. During the summer months, vacationers may choose to enjoy mountain activities like canoeing, camping, fishing and hiking.
