Guests at the Lodges enjoy access to Lake Placid Resort Beach on Mirror Lake Drive, a public beach, adjacent to the Lodges. Guests receive discounts for golf at the Mountain Course as well as horseback riding at Emerald Springs Ranch. Additionally, guests receive tickets for Whiteface Mountain, access to the Cross-Country Ski Center, and the Lake Placid Health and Fitness Center, at no extra charge. The fitness center also has a cozy lounge with a fireplace and a Pro Shop. Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains of New York offers vacationers a true mountain retreat. Lake Placid Club Lodges are near Whiteface Mountain, where skiers can enjoy 283 acres, 86 trails, and the greatest vertical drop this side of the Rocky Mountains. Visitors can also enjoy the Olympic facilities, including skating in the Olympic Center, ski jumping, and more. During the summer months, vacationers can enjoy mountain activities including canoeing, camping, fishing, and hiking.
