Golden Club Cabanas lies at the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. As well as soaking up the magnificent views of the lagoon and exploring the seaside village of Cabanas, the resort provides three swimming pools, a pool bar, volleyball courts, a health club children’s club, restaurant, a lobby bar, a clubhouse, evening entertainment and more. Guests have a choice of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, complete with a balcony or terrace and a partial or full kitchen. Cabanas is a typical little fishing village with a good choice of restaurants specialising in the locally caught shellfish. The nearby town of Tavira is one of the prettiest on the Algarve complete with castle, Roman bridge, nearly thirty churches and a market, is surrounded by vineyards. The beach at Cabanas forms a lagoon affording shelter to the fishing boats. Golf and a Casino are a short distance away.
